Daffodil Yellow...

Storm Doris skipped over Prunella's Patch with fortunately no damage.

This very morning when Prunella was pottering around her garden she was delighted to spot her first daffodil of the season...

Yellow is such a happy uplifting colour.
It's bright colour attracting the bees and hover flies buzzing around...

One even decided to do a little wire walking...

What could be more enjoyable than just hanging around enjoying the Sun's warm rays.

♥ Spring is just around the corner
Until the next time,
 stay safe, happy and healthy.
Hugs to all.

Thank you kindly for your visit.
We dearly appreciate your comments and hope you had as much fun reading Prunella's Blog as we had writing it.
Happy Blogging!

  1. Beautiful photographs, Prunella. You haven't lost your touch; they are all delightful, but I particularly like the first one. Those magnificent trees! They look as though there are teetering on the brink of an abyss, please tell me this is a photographic illusion!

  2. I am so happy to hear that the storm caused no damage. Your photos are gorgeous! Thank you so much for sharing.

  3. Ohhh, daffodils and tiny spring blooms! Delightful!

But be careful Prunella! Don't get your shoes dirty, "tippy-toeing" around the daffodils!!! :-)

Don't know which storm that was, but very happy, it didn't do any damage around "your neck of the woods"!!!!!

    Happy weekend hugs,
    Luna Crone

  4. Hello, I am glad all is well after the storm. Your daffodil and crocus are beautiful. I am sure the bees are happy and spring is almost here. Happy Friday, enjoy your weekend!

  6. What wonderful flowers... the bees (such great close-ups!) must be full of joy. :)
Here it has been snowing again and we have about 50 cm of snow now, so we can't say Spring is just around the corner, but your photos surely cheer me up. The last one is my favourite.
Have a happy and sunny weekend! xx

  7. Isn't it amazing to watch the growing spurt all of a sudden. Great landscapes.

  14. Hello Prunella!:) Thank you so much for your visit. I really appreciated your soft hugs, as I have been so down of late. How lovely you look amongst the yellows and blues of the daffodils and crocus. Lovely photos of the countryside in your part of the world, unscathed by the storm, the busy bees, and the cool solitary bee just hanging out!:))

Sending hugs right back to you. Take care!:)

  15. I'm glad to know that the storm passed over Prunella's patch. Storms can be devastating.

Your shots with the Bees are so wonderful!
    Greetings from Germany

  19. OMG your bees! Some of them look like dangerous missiles attacking me! Kidding, they are lovely and they have so much work to do. Some amusement - like wire walking must be allowed! I'm so glad that Doris didn't do any damage and saved also your first daffodil. Here we have to wait a couple of months...

Wishing sun and bright days to your March dear Prunella.
