The Last Lazy Days of Summer....

Blue skies overhead, the birds chirping to one another in the bushes and the nearby trees.
Some just basking in the Sun's rays...

Prunella loves to gaze up at the sky to look at the odd aeroplane flying passengers to some exotic destination far far away...

Perhaps one day we'll be flying to the Moon...

On this beautiful sunny day there are still a few flowers blooming in Prunella's garden...

The pink Hibiscus has flowered well. To think that it was grown from a self seeded seedling plucked from the ground a number of years ago...

The insects too are enjoying the warmth of the late Summer's day...

This delicate Dragonfly decided to take a rest in Prunella's Patch...

A Small Tortoiseshell spread it's wings on the fence after feasting on Prunella's Buddleja...

Prunella is indeed enjoying her last few days of Summer.
She hopes you are too...

Until the next time,
stay safe, happy and healthy.
Hugs to all.

xXx

  23. Dear, Darling Prunella,
I'm so overjoyed by finding my self here again !

After this period of 'interlude' which I had to allow myself due to work reasons - the Short Lets I manage here at Tenuta Geremia, the speech about the Empress of Austria I had to prepare and to perform at the conference which was held last Saturday at Madonna di Campiglio, in our Dolomiti, some works of restoration here and the family to join and follow took me far from the pc for more than a month and a half - I'm so glad to enjoy your Blog again, I've been missing you so much, sweet friend !

Hope you're enjoing your day, I'm sending my dearest love to you, with utmost gratitude for the works of art you always share, for your photographas are true masterpieces, believe me !

    Xx Dany

  25. Love the Hibiscus, and the insects. In Dallas, Texas We had a very large Hibiscus which produced a single flower on each stem. We brought it in each winter and it grew into almost tree size but it froze during a power failure. Tried again in Florida but they never flourished.
