Corfe Castle

When Stuart invited Prunella to join him on an outing to Corfe Castle she was delighted to accept. Stuart is always such a joy to be with.
It was a beautiful sunny Saturday morning when she met up with Stuart. Not too many tourists to spoil the friends day.

They had great fun clambering over and under the rocks. Stopping occasionally to catch their breath and posing for a photo.

Some of the remains looked like faces.

This one in particular reminded Prunella of Packman...

The views of the surrounding countryside were spectacular.

At one point Prunella was nearly whipped away by a strange man. Perish the thought!!
"What do we have here," I heard him say before I scurried to her rescue.

There was a mild breeze to cool the heat from the midday sun. Prunella was taking shelter in an opening in the castle wall when a small gust of wind picked up her light little body and
carried her off. Fortunately, to Stuart's relief, a small ledge broke her fall, otherwise it would have been a very long drop down & who knows what could have happened to Prunella at the bottom!!

By late afternoon, Prunella bid Stuart a fond farewell & climbed back into my camera bag for a rest and a relaxing, safe journey home...

             Thank you for joining us.

Thank you kindly for your visit and we hope you had as much fun reading Prunella's Blog as we had writing it.
Happy Blogging!
